Washington House is located in a beautifully-restored historic landmark in the center of Basking Ridge village. We are open for lunch and dinner, where our kitchen prepares simple, nourishing food using ingredients that honor their time and place. We believe in traditional cooking methods and resourcefulness in the kitchen. We are advocates for our community’s farmers, artisans and craftsmen; utilizing local products when available to deliver contemporary American cuisine.
Our wine program offers well-known labels, as well as hard-to-find gems, all at unprecedented value. We feel you should be able to enjoy fine wines with your meal, without compromise. To that end, our wines are priced with very little mark-up, allowing you to choose freely from our list.
Our bar features craft beer and hand-crafted cocktails, with an emphasis on seasonality, balance and quality ingredients.
